Here at JDS Creative Academy, Thanksgiving isn’t just a holiday. It’s a moment to reflect on the incredible community that keeps creativity alive, year after year.

Not the surface level kind, but the deep, heart rooted gratitude that comes from seeing lives transform through inclusive arts education, creativity, and opportunity.

From first time performers stepping onto the stage, to digital media trainees mastering new skills in editing, lighting, and production. Every student reminds us why we do what we do. Their courage, curiosity, and commitment fuel our mission of empowering all abilities through the arts. Every breakthrough moment, every “I did it!” A smile, every confident step forward is a gift we never take for granted.

The heart of JDS beats because of our team. The teaching artists, mentors, creatives, and staff who show up every day with passion and purpose. Their dedication drives our workforce development, visual and performing arts training, and innovative digital media programs that help shape real creative career pathways. Their grit is the reason our students thrive.
